Introduction

PSX Series Scrap Steel Crushing Line is a high-performance recycling system designed to process light scrap steel into high-quality furnace charge for steel mills. By learning and absorbing advanced foreign technology, this equipment fills the domestic gap in crushing production for scrap home appliances, automobile shells, and light industrial waste.

PSX crusher operates on a high-speed, high-torque hammering principle: the rotor-mounted hammers continuously strike the scrap material inside the crushing chamber, tearing and squeezing it into specified sizes. This process removes coatings, increases bulk density, prevents explosions when charged into electric furnaces, and improves dissolution rates—fully meeting steel mills' requirements for "fine material feeding".

Applications

• Automotive Scrap:Whole or flattened car bodies (tires, fuel tanks, engines, and gearboxes removed).
• Household Appliances:Old washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc. (motors, compressors, and shafts removed).
• Tinplate & Light Scrap:Tinplate sheets, steel drums, paint buckets, color steel tiles
• Other Scrap:Bicycles, motorcycle frames, empty cans (liquids and paint removed), aluminum cans, light steel with thickness <6mm.

Materials Not Recommended for Processing:

Thick wire cable (>20mm, >7.5m length).
Steel plate >20mm thickness or >25mm thickness with large dimensions.
Alloy steel, reinforcing steel bar >30mm radius, steel ingots, billets.
Structural materials with section >10mm.
