Description

Introduction

PEX Jaw Crusher is a specialized type of jaw crusher designed primarily for secondary and fine crushing applications in mining and aggregate production . It belongs to the same family as the primary PE Jaw Crusher but features a smaller feed opening size, making it suitable for processing materials that have already undergone primary reduction.
PEX series adopts a single toggle design with a compound pendulum structure . It is widely used across industries including mining, metallurgy, construction, road and railway building, hydropower, and chemical engineering.



Working Principle

The crusher operates using an electric motor that drives the eccentric shaft through V-belts and pulleys. As the eccentric shaft rotates, it forces the movable jaw plate to move in a reciprocating motion along a predetermined path. Crushing stroke: When the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw increases, pushing the jaw plate toward the fixed jaw plate. Materials in the crushing cavity are compressed, ground, and crushed. Discharge stroke: When the movable jaw descends, the angle decreases, and the spring-loaded drawbar pulls the jaw back, allowing crushed materials to be discharged from the bottom opening.
The curved-movement compression method ensures efficient crushing with consistent product sizing.
